Amid a rift between the West Bengal Governor and the Mamata Banerjee government in the state, Jagdeep Dhankar has now said that he would be happy to call on the Chief Minister for Bhai Dooj. He said that although he is not aware of an invitation from the West Bengal CM, he and his wife would be delighted to call on the Chief Minister. This comes amid tensions between the two over several issues including the Jadavpur clashes involving Union Minister Babul Supriyo, durga puja celebrations and district officials refusing to meet the Governor.
