Coronavirus: Surat diamond traders stare at ₹8000 crore loss

The spread of coronavirus has made diamond traders in Surat extremely nervous as China is the world's second largest jewellery market. According to traders, they are likely to face a loss of about 8000 to 10000 crore in the next two months. Over 500 people have been killed due to coronavirus in China and around 28,000 people have reportedly been infected. In India, 3 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Kerala.
