Congress on Monday demanded that the government should make details of all purchases made to fight Covid-19 public. Party spokesperson Manish Tewari alleged that huge profiteering in procurement of equipment was being made at this time of crisis. “There seems to be an absolute anarchy in procurement of equipment for fighting Covid-19. We demand the govt to make public all procurements made with regard to equipment,” he said. India has so far recorded over 27,800 infections and more than 870 deaths.
