Covid-19: India sends ship with medicines, food to 5 nations amid crisis

India is helping its neighbours and friends with key supplies amid Covid pandemic. A Navy ship departed with food and medicines for many nations in Indian Ocean Region. The mission has been dubbed 'SAGAR' - Security And Growth for All in the Region. INS Kesari was stocked with Covid-related medicines like HCQ, Ayurvedic medicines and food. INS Kesari will be visiting Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar, and Comoros. India has been extending helping hands across the globe in view of Covid crisis. Earlier, India had decided to export key drug HCQ to over 50 nations including USA.
