Naveen Patnaik says BJP promised MSP to paddy farmers in 2014 and did nothing

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday attended a public gathering in the national capital to press the demands for paddy farmers. The meeting was held on Tuesday at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. Patnaik alleged that the Centre ignored repeated requests to raise MSP for paddy to Rs 2,930 per quintal. BJP in ints 2014 manifesto had said to give MSP to paddy farmers but failed to do so. A memorandum has been submitted before President Ram Nath Kovind in Delhi.
