New Army vice chief Lt Gen MM Naravane lays wreath at National War Memorial

Lieutenant General Manoj Mukund Naravane, the new Vice Chief of Army Staff, laid a wreath at the National War Memorial. He took over as the Army vice chief on September 1, 2019, succeeding Lt Gen Devraj Anbu. He was earlier heading the Eastern Command of the Army. He has also served in terror-infested areas like Jammu and Kashmir, and the Northeast. Lt Gen Naravane was also part of the Indian Peace Keeping Force in Sri Lanka.
