‘Not scared of ABVP, will take bullet for country’: Kargil martyr’s daughter

Delhi University Student Gurmehar Kaur, whose social media campaign against the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) student organisation ABVP went viral, said she isn't scared of the organisation and would not hesitate in taking a bullet for the country like her father Kargil martyr Captain Mandeep Singh did. Kaur said her campaign is aimed at raising voice against organisations that try to curb the fundamental right of freedom of speech. Kaur further asserted that there is no need for such a student organisation, which instead of empowering suppresses their mates with threats of rapes and murder.
