‘Overdue hug’: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on meeting Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina met senior leaders of the Indian National Congress party on Sunday. The meeting took place during Hasina's 4-day trip to India. Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met Hasina. Congress' Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Anand Sharma were also present. The Bangladesh premier and Priyanka Vadra shared a warm embrace. Tweeting about the meeting, Priyanka Vadra said that the hug was 'overdue' and that she considered Hasina a source of inspiration.
