Patiala House Court has extended the CBI custody of Christian Michel for 4 days. Michel is an alleged middleman in the Rs 3600 crore AgustaWestland chopper deal. Michel was produced in Patiala House court of Delhi after his 5-day CBI remand ended. He had been extradited from Dubai on December 5. CBI had sought an extension of his custody by five days, saying that they wanted to confront him with more evidence and also take him to Mumbai. The court refused to allow Michel's lawyers to meet him in CBI custody.
