Rahul Gandhi promises special status to Andhra Pradesh if voted to power

Rahul Gandhi addressed a public rally in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada. He said, “When Manmohan Singh ji committed to this state that we will give special status and that we will give what Andhra Pradesh deserves, it wasn't just an individual who made the commitment, it was the Prime Minister of India.” He added that Congress will give special status to Andhra Pradesh if voted to power in Delhi. The congress president will contest from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala apart from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
