Watch | ‘Cow Pongal’ celebrated with traditional fervour

Tamil Nadu celebrated the festival of 'Cow Pongal' with great zeal and fervour on Monday. People were seen worshipping the cows and feeding them with traditional food and fruits. The streets in both rural and urban areas of the state were decked up with drawings made of flour (called 'Kolam' in Tamil). People decorated their homes with mango leaves and strings of flowers. Cows were also decorated with flowers and garlands.
