The juvenile justice board on Thursday ordered framing of gangrape and murder charges against the minor accuse in the infamous Delhi gangrape case. His trial begins next week. Earlier, the 17-year-old accused pleaded not guilty on Thursday to charges that he took part in the gang rape and murder of the trainee physiotherapist in New Delhi. Police say the youth and five men on December 16 lured the 23-year-old woman and her male friend on to a bus where they repeatedly raped and beat her with a metal bar before tossing the bleeding couple on to the road. If found guilty, he would face a maximum penalty of three years in juvenile detention, while his adult co-accused could face the death penalty.
