Fire rituals for peace and harmony

People in Jodhpur on Friday performed fire rituals in about 1008 vessels against terrorism and offered prayers for peace and harmony in their country. Hindu Vedic chants reverberated in the entire vicinity. Hundreds of devotees joined the priests in prayers to please gods to bring peace and prosperity in their country. The fire ritual comes in the wake of recent Mumbai terror attack that claimed many lives.
