Goel accuses OC of financial bungling in R-Day preparations

After raising questions over the organising committee's ability to complete preparations on time for Commonwealth Games 2010, former OC member and senior BJP leader Vijay Goel has now accused the OC of financial bungling in the Republic Day preparations. Speaking outside the office of the Commission in New Delhi on Tuesday he alleged the tableau of the sports ministry in the Republic Day celebrations had cost around 10 millions though by most liberal estimates it could have been done in around 1 million.
