Kashmir deputies not in favor of early elections

One day after the CM of Jammu & Kashmir resigned from office, the political parties in the region do not want provincial elections to be in advance. Ghulam Nabi Azad resigned on Monday without facing a trust vote in the state legislature. The state's main opposition National Conference also favored elections as per schedule. Elections in Kashmir, where thousands of people have been killed since1989 are due by November.
