Patnaik expresses happiness over release of abducted hostages

Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday expressed happiness over the safe release of Malkangiri Collector, R. V. Krishna and Junior Engineer, Pabitra Majhi by Maoist rebels. Patnaik further said that the state government did not bow before the rebels however commitments made to the rebels would be fulfilled. Meanwhile, sharing the experience of being a hostage with the Maoists, the released district collector Krishna told media persons that the Maoists themselves were tensed about the whole incident.
