Toyota to invest $350 mn in car plant

Toyota Motors is all set to foray into the small car segment in the Indian market and will invest $350 million (Rupees 1400 crore) at a new factory in Bangalore by 2010. According to company officials, the company is developing a new strategic small car that would be sold not only in India but also in the overseas markets and the plant will have a capacity of hundred thousand units.
