Watch | Delhi police inducts 30 trained labradors in dog squad

Delhi Police inducted a new batch of 30 dogs to bolster the strength of its canine squad here today in the presence of Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and city Police Commissioner Alok Kumar Verma.The batch, which contains canines of Labrador Retrievers would take the total strength of Delhi police's dog squad to 60.

The trained dogs are allocated to different districts across the national capital and are called to the crime scene as required. They are spread over different districts. They are used for anti-sabotage operations, building security, crime scene and for different calls.
