Standing outside JNU's administrative block, his speech was beamed live on prime-time television and #KanhaiyaKumar trended on Twitter. A close friend Amit Kumar, who shared the hostel room in Patna told HT that Kumar was one of the best speakers in college. “He used to win the debate competition.
