Water sports to boost tourism

The Jammu and Kashmir's tourism department has re-opened the Nageen Lake in the valley's summer capital Srinagar, as part of its efforts to promote water sports in the region and draw tourists from across the globe. The lake, which was closed due to turmoil in the state, is now buzzed with various sports activities like kayaking, canoeing and water skiing at the formal inaugural function.
