Tensions spike as Tehran hardens its nuclear red lines ahead of renewed high-stakes talks with Washington. Iran’s Atomic Energy chief Mohammad Eslami has rejected U.S. demands for zero uranium enrichment, offering dilution of 60% enriched stock only if all sanctions are lifted. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has revealed that unexploded U.S. GBU-57 bombs and Tomahawk missiles remain at Iranian nuclear sites following the recent Israel–Iran conflict, deepening mistrust. As indirect Oman-brokered negotiations resume, President Masoud Pezeshkian insists Iran will not surrender its NPT rights, setting the stage for a tense diplomatic showdown.
