Iran has released dramatic footage claiming to show the wreckage of a downed U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone over the Gulf region after fresh clashes near the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian media said the drone was hunted down by I.R.G.C. “Kaman-Gir Archers,” while Tehran also claimed its forces fired at an F-35 stealth jet and forced it to retreat. President Masoud Pezeshkian praised Iran’s “surprising” military capabilities as tensions with Washington escalated again following recent U.S. strikes near Hormuz. Is Tehran now using Hormuz as its ultimate pressure card against Trump?
