Kanwar Yatra: CM Yogi Adityanath Showers Petals On Kanwariyas In Meerut

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath showered flower petals on Kanwariyas in Meerut during the annual Kanwar Yatra. The Chief Minister welcomed the devotees as they continued their pilgrimage to collect holy Ganga water and offer it at Shiva temples during the auspicious Shravan period. The Kanwar Yatra sees lakhs of Shiva devotees, known as Kanwariyas, travelling across Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states as part of the annual religious pilgrimage. Security and arrangements have been strengthened along major routes to facilitate the movement of devotees.
