If you are a Tintin fan, this Brussels metro station is the place to go

The Stockel station at the European capital of Brussels is a must visit if you are a Tintin fan. The station has a 300 metres long mural based on the famous cartoon series, The Adventures of Tintin. Tintin is the fictional hero of the comics series by Belgian cartoonist Hergé, he is a reporter and adventurer who travels around the world with his dog Snowy. The series was one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century. By 2007 more than 200 million copies had been published in over 70 languages. The series was mixture of fantasy, mystery, science fiction and political thrillers. It was adopted for radio, television,film and theatre as well. The mural designed by the creater of the comic series Hergé features all the characters from the series.
