Netanyahu’s new weapon in Gaza? Water shortages push 1.3 million Gazans to the brink | Trump, Israel

Gaza’s humanitarian crisis is deepening as millions reportedly struggle with access to water, sanitation and basic hygiene. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says more than 1.3 million people receive less than six litres of water per person each day, far below the 15-litre emergency standard. Around three in four people reportedly depend on water trucks, while only about half of households have access to basic sanitation. More than 900,000 people have also reported accumulated garbage in residential areas. The worsening crisis comes as Trump’s Gaza peace efforts face fresh challenges amid continued disagreements over Hamas disarmament.
