Agra hospital shut down over 'mock oxygen drill', patients' kin feel the heat

• Agra administration sealed a city's private hospital after a video of its owner went viral. Kin of patients undergoing treatment were asked to shift them to other hospitals. In the video, the owner of Paras hospital was purportedly talking of a 'mock oxygen drill’. Dr Arinjay Jain, however, denied allegations that the patients' oxygen supply was cut off. Jain called reports of 22 deaths baseless & said he was ready to cooperate in the probe. Uttar Pradesh health department has initiated an investigation into the matter.
