Trinamool Congress faced an embarrassing setback after a key legislative party meeting at Mamata Banerjee’s Kolkata residence had to be postponed due to poor attendance. Only 19 of the party’s 80 MLAs reportedly turned up for the meeting, which was called to discuss the CID probe into the alleged forgery of legislators’ signatures in a letter nominating Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay as the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly.
