China building new fighter jet base near Ladakh, says report amid LAC tension

- China is building a new fighter airplane base near Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh in its Xinjiang province, reported news agency ANI quoting sources in the government. This comes as tensions between India and China continue after the two had fatal clashes in Galwan valley at the LAC in 2020. India has been urging China to complete the disengagement process.
