'Fight your battle': Mother of Unnao rape victim in Cong list of U.P candidates

Congress on Thursday released its first list of 125 candidates for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls. In the list, Congress named the mother of 2017 Unnao rape victim, Asha Singh, as its candidate from the Unnao Assembly seat. Former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar was convicted and jailed for life for the 17-year-old girl's rape and was also found to be involved in the death of the girl's father. Asha Singh will be contesting from Unnao's Bangarmau, the same seat where Sengar won as a BJP candidate in 2017. Watch full video.
