'Gave birth to revolutionaries': PM unveils renovated Jallianwala Bagh complex

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday unveiled the renovated complex of Jallianwala Bagh memorial and paid tributes to the martyrs. Addressing the event virtually, PM said that the dreams of the innocent boys and girls, of the sisters and brothers are still visible in the bullet marks in the walls of Jallianwala Bagh. He said that Jallianwala Bagh is the place which inspired countless revolutionaries and fighters like Sardar Udham Singh, Sardar Bhagat Singh to die for the freedom of India. PM Modi said that India witnessed another Jallianwala Bagh like tragedy in the face of country's partition in 1947 which affected the people of Punjab most.
