How Indian oil firms are paying the price for West sanctions on Russia amid war

- Indian oil companies are reeling under the impact of western sanctions on Russia amid its invasion of Ukraine. As per Reuters report, $125 million worth dividends of Indian oil companies have been stuck in Russia. This also comes amid Russian President Vladimir Putin’s clamp down on dollar transactions in a tit-for-tat policy against the western sanctions. The report adds that the dividends of Oil India, Indian Oil Corp and Bharat Petroleum which have stakes in two Russian assets have been hit. Watch this video to know more.
