‘If injustice done to Kashmiris…’: Taliban changes stance after Al Qaeda threat
Published on Sept 03, 2021 04:25 pm IST
After Taliban's earlier claim of not interfering in Kashmir, the Islamist group has now changed its stance. Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen has said that if injustice is meted out to Kashmiris, his group will speak out against India. Shaheen told BBC that Taliban will also raise its voice if India mistreats its Muslim minority as Indian government too seeks protection of minorities in Afghanistan. The Taliban's change in stance on Kashmir comes just three days after al-Qaeda in its congratulatory message to the group called for the liberation of Kashmir. Watch this report for more.
