Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi is set to skip the key G20 foreign ministers' meeting being held in New Delhi on March 1-2. Japan Today reported that Hayashi is slated to attend a parliamentary session on the 2023 budget. Japan's Nikkei newspaper reported that a deputy minister is likely to be dispatched in his place. The move is likely to "upset" G20 host nation India, Japan's key partner.
