'Kanpur doctor kills wife, kids; writes to brother about offence,' say police

A doctor has allegedly killed his wife, son & daughter in their home in Uttar Pradesh. The horrifying incident took place in Kalyanpur area of Kanpur on Friday evening. According to police, the accused doctor is on the run as of now. Police said that the doctor informed his brother about the killings. Police said the doctor had added that he was reeling under depression. The brother then informed the police of the crime who then rushed to the spot. “We had received information about the murders in Kalyanpur area. After reaching the spot, we found the bodies of a woman, her son & daughter. The deceased's husband, a doctor, had sent a WhatsApp message to his brother. Mentioning about the offence, the doctor said he was reeling under depression,” DCP (West), BBGTS Murthy said.
