Latest defence, cybersecurity, quantum, AI tech PM Modi saw at Israel expo With Netanyahu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi placed advanced defence and frontier technologies at the centre of his two-day Israel visit, touring a high-profile technology expo featuring breakthroughs in AI, cybersecurity, quantum computing, space systems and sustainable innovation. During the visit, the Prime Minister interacted with leading entrepreneurs, CEOs and scientists, underscoring India’s push to deepen tech-driven strategic cooperation with Israel. At the Israeli Quantum Computing Centre, Modi was briefed on next-generation quantum research and its potential applications in defence, encryption and advanced computing. In cybersecurity, officials from Check Point Software Technologies outlined their collaborations and growing footprint in India. Meanwhile, Israel Aerospace Industries showcased miniaturised satellites, radar systems and advanced space technologies, reflecting expanding cooperation in the aerospace domain. The Prime Minister also reviewed innovations in water management, agriculture, energy and natural resources — sectors critical to India’s development priorities. He noted that the technologies on display hold strong potential to scale up India–Israel innovation partnerships. Modi invited Israeli firms to invest, manufacture and build advanced technologies in India, reinforcing the Make in India vision and positioning technology as a cornerstone of the bilateral strategic partnership.
