- An initial investigation into the Ludhiana court blast revealed that a former state police constable was behind the explosion. Punjab DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyay shared the findings from the preliminary probe into the district court blast case. The DGP told that the accused, Gagandeep Singh, assembled the bomb inside the court washroom. The police believe Gagandeep likely met some Khalistani elements and drug smugglers while he was jailed. Gagandeep Singh was dismissed from service in 2019 in connection with a drugs case and spent two years in jail. Watch full video.
