PM Modi launches 5G service in 13 cities of India; Gets demo from Akash Ambani

- India is now 5G connected as the much-awaited service has been launched. In a mega event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the service for 13 cities across the country. The cities which are 5G connected now are Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, and Lucknow. The rest of India will get access to the next-gen network over the next few months and within two to three years. During the historic launch, Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani gave a 5G demo to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mukesh Ambani, Sunil Bharti Mittal, and Kumar Mangalam Birla were also present at the glittering event.
