Ahead of the swearing-in of the new members of the Union Cabinet, many high-profile faces tendered their resignations. Union health minister Harsh Vardhan, and education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal were among those who quit from their posts. Babul Supriyo, Pratap Sarangi, and Santosh Gangwar also resigned.
