Russian forces shoot dead Ukraine woman who stayed back to help Ukraine amid war

• A 31-year-old Valeriia Maksetska who refused to leave Ukraine after Russia waged war has been killed in a Russian attack. Valeriia who was a trained medic was out to get medicines for her ailing mother when she was killed by Russian troops outside Kyiv. A Russian tank opened fire on Veleriia, her mother & their driver while they had pulled over to let a Russian convoy pass. Valeriia was working with the U.S Agency for International Development.
