Tears and tributes marked a sombre Friday morning at the Rawat residence. Family, politicians and senior dignitaries gathered to pay their respects to the deceased couple. General Bipin Rawat and his wife’s mortal remains were brought to the Kamraj Marg residence wrapped in tri-colour. Rawat’s daughters and family members were visibly devastated by their shocking demise in the chopper crash. Several army men and politicians visited the residence to bid farewell to the senior military officer. Home minister Amit Shah laid wreaths on their mortal remains. NSA Ajit Doval was seen paying a floral tribute to cds gen rawat and his wife madhulika.
