National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel rescued a stranded dog from a submerged rooftop of a hotel in Maharashtra’s flood-hit Kolhapur. Amid severe waterlogging, the dog took refuge on the roof of the hotel. The NDRF team rescued and rehabilitated the dog. Later, a personnel was also seen feeding the dog with biscuits. Maharashtra’s Kolhapur district has been severely affected by floods. Houses and shops have partially submerged in floodwater in Chikhali area of Kolhapur district. Six NDRF teams deployed in Kolhapur and around 1500 evacuated on 25 July, as per an official. Watch the full video for more.
