The landslide hit an under-construction tunnel road project connecting Malappuram and Wayanad, trapping several workers. Rescue operations are underway with teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Fire and Rescue Services, police, Forest Department and local residents. While Kerala Health Minister K.
