Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has denied any wrongdoing as a parliamentary standards investigation into his financial declarations resumes following his return to Parliament. Farage said he was “absolutely convinced” he had done nothing wrong and insisted he had not broken any laws or benefited from public funds. The investigation focuses on whether he should have declared a gift from a Thailand-based billionaire before the 2024 general election. Farage acknowledged receiving the money but said it was a personal, unconditional gift rather than a political donation. He also promised major changes if Reform UK wins power at the next general election.
