2018 Commonwealth Games: Fans look to enjoy ‘Festive’ occasion

Festival 2018 is an attempt to involve families and businesses with the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. The festival opened on April 4 and will continue till April 15. Events are being held at six venues at Gold Coast, Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville. There are performers from Commonwealth counties like Mallakhamb India from Mumbai, Les Moutons/CORPUS from Canada, which is a physical theatre, Circus Arts Australia, music shows by Australian musicans and performance by local dance groups. Festival 2018 events are being organized in the city centre so that people can sit in restaurants and cafes and enjoy food while watching the shows (Video credit: Hindustan Times).
