Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf publicly rejected President Donald Trump’s claim that Iran’s unfrozen assets would be used to buy American agricultural goods, calling the idea false and mocking Washington in an English-language post on X. Ghalibaf wrote that the United States “falsely claims” Iran’s released funds would go toward its agriculture and told Trump to “keep your SNAP advice” to himself.
