Palestine calls out ‘ruthless’ Israeli occupation at US as Israel refuses to leave West Bank. . .

At a UN Security Council debate on violence and settlements in the West Bank, Palestinian Ambassador Riyad Mansour called for international action to end what he described as Israel’s “illegal occupation,” while Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon rejected the occupation label and said Jewish communities would remain in Judea and Samaria—the West Bank.
