Russia’s chargé d’affaires in Poland, Andrei Ordash, condemned Warsaw’s decision to shut down the last Russian consulate, calling it an “unprovoked, hostile action” aimed at fueling Russophobia and “war hysteria.” His comments follow allegations from Polish officials linking Moscow to a recent railway blast on a route used for Ukraine aid—a claim Russia dismisses as "absurd." The consulate in Gdansk will close by December 23, leaving only the Russian Embassy in Warsaw operational as diplomatic ties continue to deteriorate. The move comes amid ongoing accusations of sabotage and hybrid attacks, which Moscow denies.
