Hungary's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto launched a scathing attack on Ukraine in Brussels, demanding EU sanctions on its army and leaders after a Hungarian man was allegedly beaten to death during forced conscription. The victim, Jozsef Sebestyen, reportedly died after being assaulted with iron bars. Ukraine denies all charges. Szijjarto also slammed EU indifference and opposed Ukraine’s fast-track membership. He backed Slovakia's resistance to further Russian gas bans, warning of skyrocketing energy bills.
