Revealed: when will Trump dare to put boots on the ground in Iran?

A former Iranian deputy minister has claimed that the United States is preparing for a possible ground invasion of Iran, alleging Washington is expanding its military infrastructure across the Gulf. Speaking to Iran International, Asghar Ebrahimi-Asl claimed the U.S. is increasing its military presence in countries including the United Arab Emirates and recruiting foreign mercenaries as part of long-term preparations. He further alleged that Qeshm Island and Kharg Island could become potential objectives in any future military campaign, while suggesting Washington may wait until September, when cooler weather would be more favourable for large-scale ground operations. The claims have not been independently verified or confirmed by U.S. officials, but come amid continuing military tensions between Washington and Tehran.
