Revealed: Xi’s opening move in Taiwan ‘war’ - hunt US aircraft carriers with ‘invisible’ J-35 and…?

China may have just revealed its opening gambit for a future Taiwan war – and it doesn’t start with a beach landing, but with a strike on U.S. carrier groups. Beijing’s new J‑35 fifth‑generation stealth fighter, when paired with the YJ‑15 supersonic anti‑ship missile, could turn into a long‑range “carrier‑killer” platform designed to push the U.S. Navy far east of Taiwan. Analysts say a fully armed J‑35 could carry up to four anti‑ship missiles, turning one jet into a stealthy maritime strike asset capable of threatening an entire carrier strike group from hundreds of kilometres away.
